Coca-Cola wanted to create an Intranet for it’s North American employees to share stories, inspiration, current events, and current promotional efforts to expand the brand. The Intranet created a place for employees to communicate and foster ideas, while understanding the company vision and mission as a whole.
Key Responsibilities / Achievements Include:
Report directly to the Vice-President of Marketing for Coca-Cola North America to originate and evolve the Coca-Cola corporate Intranet, including web development and the sourcing, story development and managing of content from stakeholders across the company.
- Manage, design and execute product roadmaps forming the web development and content marketing strategy which ensures on time delivery and successful achievement of required outcomes – measured in visitor volume, engagement & growth.
- Establish a minimum viable product by hand-developing the initial website in HTML, CSS and Javascript, then delivered on a 3-week launch schedule while establishing the guidelines and procedures for continued development of the project which ensured the brand, personality, and functionality of the site remained consistent.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders including sales, product management and marcom to support message generation activities which included marketing campaigns, promotions, trade events/shows, local & charity events and press releases.
- Source and audit an exceptional pool of web development, design and copywriting talent, then hired and trained them based upon the established guidelines and procedures; managed their activities and ensured deadlines were met and all KPI’s and outcomes were achieved.
- Expertly manage interactions between Coca-Cola marketing department, Coca-Cola web services and product development groups (Front-end web developers, designers and copywriters) as the single point of interaction for all teams.
